Meet The Founder
Saxony Kearney is the founder and CEO of Saxy’s, a global sleepwear line that is both sexy and comfortable. After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a BBA in Logistics, Saxony went on to work for various globally recognized logistics companies, including Hanjin, United States Department of Defense, Beeline Group, and The Home Depot. During her tenure with the Department of Defense, Saxony began pursuing her MBA at American Public University. It was during her graduate studies that her interest in entrepreneurship was piqued.
After graduating, Saxony discovered a problem that awoke her entrepreneurial spirit. It started with her husband, Tavares. He was never pleased with what she wore to bed because it wasn’t “sexy” enough. Saxony wasn’t excited about wearing traditional “sexy” pajamas or lingerie because the pieces were uncomfortable. After talking with friends about her nightwear conflict, she realized she wasn’t the only woman with this experience. That is when Saxy’s was born.
Saxony went on to build a brand that is both sexy and comfortable. Designing a product that appeals to men and women is not an easy task, but over the past year, she has worked tirelessly to design, fund, market and implement the logistical plan for Saxy’s. As the saying goes, if you’re not willing to invest in yourself, then why should anyone else?
Saxony operates the business in Snellville, Georgia, where she also lives with her husband and two Olde English Bulldogs. Her personal style fuses femininity and comfort, which is one of the core principles of the Saxy’s brand. There is no reason why women can’t look and feel equally sexy and comfortable when they go to bed. With Saxy’s sleepwear line, the traditional saying “pretty hurts” is no longer true.
